Ponkapoag Civic Battle Bots Outreach and Fundraiser:

The day after the lego derby, we also hosted a day for the kids to create battle bots. We used EV3s and various lego parts to create each robot, where we had elimination matches to see who will win.

Ponkapoag Civic Lego Derby Outreach and Fundraiser:

Here, we brought loads of legos and let kids build little karts out of them. We also brought a derby track and we raced everyone's cars!

Canton Public Library Robo-Rave

August 9th and 10th

We hosted an event at the Canton Public Library to let kids drive robots around and to spread the word of FIRST.

Beginning/Intermediate Robotics Canton Academy Camp:July 25-July 28, 2016

Advanced Robotics Canton Academy camp August 1-August 4, 2016

During the Summer, we volunteered at the high school to enrich a younger generation with more knowledge of robotics. These campers already took the Intermediate class, so they knew how to use the NXT, so we taught them how to build a ranger bot.

During the Summer, we volunteered at the William H. Galvin Middle School to introduce 4th through 8th graders robotics with the school's technology teacher, Mr. Bauer.

Robo Expo June 15,2016

We introduced more than 100 people to FIRST Programs and informed people about how fun building robots is.

Cambridge Science Festival April 16,2016

This year, we went to the Cambridge Science Festival to show children robotics in the Robotic Zoo! We also were there with our friends the Gear Ticks- Team 6055!

Our team also presented to the Canton High School Faculty to show the staff what our robotics Program is all about!
